Happy Birthday, Ralph
I just typed the word "May" into a word document and was automatically told that it is now May 13. Happy fuckin' birthday, William Estes Galloway. I realize that you may not read this for weeks, but I'm thinking about you. I love you more than I could ever articulate. "Happy birthday Ralph, I love you, even though you are fucking disgusting." That was for old times' sake. I recently found a note that you passed me in Ms. Craig's class in 8th grade, and the lyrics to that song were written on it. That was the entire content of the note. You always were a cheeky one, but still practically perfect in every way. | | Tuesday, May 9th, 2006 | | 10:54 am |
Note to Self...and the Internet
Your paper..."a document in madness"..." DO IT, (England)" This is the last day of classes. I've never been sadder about this fact. At least I'm ending on Westerns, and if I cry again it won't really be noticeable because I cry at the end of like every single movie in that class (which is embarrassing in itself)...but have I mentioned that I cry really, and I can't stress this enough, really easily? My mother says that I feel emotions too strongly. Hey! That brings me full circle: the critics say that while Hamlet thinks too much, Ophelia feels too much, and she drowns in feeling. I say the critics are punks, and in my interpretation, Ophelia is just feigning her madness too. Gary - hurry up and get better at playing Hamlet - I want to make a film. Back to my paper. | | Monday, May 8th, 2006 | | 2:35 am |
Hey Petey Love
Pass on my regards to El Presidente! Shit, our brothers are gonna rule the world someday. Oh, and say hi to the oscar winner for me too because he's the one who's actually friends with me...kinda. He seems to be wary of my enthusiasm, but I still love him! | | Saturday, May 6th, 2006 | | 6:41 pm |
"My brother shall know of it."
Like Freddie before him, Gary is the champion of the world. Congratulations to Gary and the Westlake Literary Criticism Team for winning 1ST AT STATE!!!! Congratulations to Gary for winning the DELL SCHOLARSHIP! Congratulations to Gary because that scholarship money will be sent to YALE UNIVERSITY! Congratulations to Gary for multiple acting awards in the role of Ivan Vasilievich, including BEST ACTOR! Congratulations to Gary for being the best friend and brother in the world! | | Thursday, May 4th, 2006 | | 7:54 pm |

That just happened in my room, soundtrack and everything. I knew there was still some good in George even though he's mostly machine now...I could feel it! Thanks to the lovely Duncan for the news! So, September 12...kinda close to October 1...any volunteers? | | Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006 | | 10:48 pm |
"If I were king..."
I just had my last American Drama class and I cried when it was over. I'm actually very upset. I would be okay with meeting once a week with that class for the rest of my life...really. | | 4:27 pm |
"Don't you think it's a little risky for R&R?" | | Wednesday, April 26th, 2006 | | 4:57 pm |

L'Chaim!
I am so happy. First of all, Wesleyan is wonderful. It really is - I'm so lucky. Lately, I've had so much to look forward to. Happy thoughts all the time. First I was looking forward to Gary's visit so so so much, and now that he's gone, it's sad, BUT tomorrow will be the best day of my whole life. We have the most amazing schedule planned out. My favorite part of the plan?...FERN GULLY! The thing that I'm most looking forward to is being a counselor this summer. So far, Laura, Bethany, and Megan will be going as well, and this makes me happier than I can even begin to explain. That will be a beautiful month, and having it to think about makes every day beautiful as well. Teaching archery, rawr! I'm having so much fun here. | | Tuesday, April 18th, 2006 | | 7:23 am |
HE'S 18 AND HE LIKES IT! Oh, G-Baby, that Alice Cooper song really doesn't work for you.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GARY!!!
I'm so glad that I had you for the first nine hours of your birthday to read Hamlet to me and spoon with me! (That helped me sleep by the way.) I hope you had an excellent time here, and I hope those Yalies show you an even better time, or I'll get on that New Haven bus, kick some ass, and take some names!
I LOVE YOU, GARY GARY!

"I Got You, Babe"
Goddamn, if I could pick one day in which the plot of "Groundhog Day" applied to my life, today would definitely be a contendah. I got you, G-Babe. Today is beautiful. | | Thursday, April 13th, 2006 | | 11:16 pm |
Have you seen her dressed in blue? Today I saw the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen. It was a full arch and every color was visible. I had taken a walk to smell the rain and look for a rainbow (because it was so sunny), but didn't realize that it was right behind my head until an elderly gentleman went out of his way to say, "There is the most spectacular rainbow right behind you!" and make my day that much better. It was incredible.
Inspired by Bethany...
Did I mention I'm in the midst of an all nighter to write a paper and it's not going well? (Case in point: this livejournal post) | | Monday, April 10th, 2006 | | 11:35 pm |
Let me forget about today until tomorrow. | | Saturday, April 8th, 2006 | | 8:32 pm |
"One Generation Got Old, One Generation Got Soul"
Bad news: While I am feeling much better than I was, I'm still not really feeling well enough to be oot and aboot. Headaches and coughing fits and the like. So yeah, it's Saturday night and I'm kind of bummed. I feel disconnected. Good news: I read in Grace Slick's autobiography that she had sex with Jim Morrison, and well, I met Grace Slick at her art exhibit in Austin, so I've shaken a hand that has um, shaken Jim Morrison, so basically I will die happy and successful no matter what. Yes, I've been doing a lot of reading, all productive-like. Essays about Hamlet and the such. Speaking of Hamlet, my thoughts and good energy are with my baby brother and the cast of "Black Snow." In case it was doubted, my deepest love and loyalties still lie with Janis. I miss people, even the people that are here at Wes. | | Wednesday, April 5th, 2006 | | 12:57 pm |
um, thank you, Gary, for teaching me about iambic pentameter because I'm stupid and forgot kind of
I love my sweet and precious Gary Scott. My Gary is so smart that I could cry. He's spread so thin but always clears his lot To come to aid when I cannot get by. He teaches me about meter and rhyme. The days spent with my Gary are a treat. Will Shakespeare is so fun on Gary's time. My darling Gary makes my life complete. When I miss him I watch C3-PO "Oh dear!" but it is not nearly the same As having the real G-Baby in tow. I really suck at this whole sonnet game, But the endearèd Gary taught me well: A rhyming couplet makes the ending swell. |
